What You’ll Learn

Major Gifts Boot Camp is a two-day event through which nonprofit leaders receive advice, training, and tools to help build or grow their major gift program and begin receiving larger donations.

Boot Camp leaders will teach you to be great at what can be one of the most intimidating parts of nonprofit work: asking for large gifts. This dynamic workshop focuses on building or improving your major gifts program.

This two-day intensive includes:

  • A special opportunity to meet a major donor and participate in an interactive conversation about what they look for in a nonprofit program and fundraising pitch.
  • Focused sessions where you’ll learn to more deeply understand critical aspects of building a major gift program, like case development, Board involvement, gift table development, and more.
  • Real-time practice with fellow campers, teachers, and donors helps you begin to understand how to use the crucial techniques you’ll need to ask for and receive major gifts.

If you have a little fear about asking for big gifts — or you know your approach could use refinement — then register to join us and receive real-world education about ​major gifts.

Let’s Build Hope is a CFRE Approved Provider for Continuing Education. Earn 14 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards your CFRE by attending the Major Gifts Boot Camp.
